About Me:
Hello, I'm Yousif Mahmood, a student at Think Tank studying environments and props for film. I'm passionate about realistic texturing and hard surface modeling, and I want to work as a 3D generalist in the film industry. I try to create a new and distinctive atmosphere for the industry by exploring the boundary between realism and fun in my projects. I've finished a number of projects that have improved both my technical and artistic abilities. I'm excited to contribute to creative projects after graduation where I can further develop my abilities and have a big influence.

Advanced Final Project
For the third term in Think Tank, I picked a theme park game, The Octopus Ride, I went to my local theme park and took pictures of the octopus ride there, I'm using blender for everything this term to learn the software more, It has an incredible tools for texturing and shading, after doing the materials i can bake them into UVs or even in UDIMs, I also made a rig for a possible animation I will do if I finish the modeling and texturing in time.
Intermediate Final Project
For the second term at Think Tank, I picked A car to challenge my modeling skills, I picked a Toyota rav4 1998, sadly, I had some medical issues during the term which made me unable to sit on a disk for long, and I faced some responsibilities that took a lot of my time, that shortened my time in think tank from more than 15 hours a week to, less than 3 hours a week, although I tried my best to learn and try my best through this challenges, I'm not proud of the end result, But, I'm proud of my self that I kept moving forward during this hard period, thankfully during the term brake I got better and now I'm back on track.
FuNdamentals FInal ProJect
For the first term in Think Tank, I picked a famous reference out of a famous Show, The Going Merry from One Piece, My main goal was making a realistic ship out of a cartoony concept, My work was mostly done in blender for modeling and rendering, Yet, I used Mari and Photoshop for texturing, I have gained a lot of knowledge through this project, I have done cloth simulation for the sails, And I played a little with ocean making, Overall, it was a fun project that I really enjoyed working on.
