About Me:
Hello! My name is Khalil and i am student in Environments and props for films. Have passion in Hard Surface modeling and compositing. My projects exploring of Realistic and science fiction, trying to create and merge real props with imagination to have a science fiction prop. I have done several freelance projects in cg modeling and trying always to develop my skills to be better artist. After graduation I contribute to innovative scifi projects and hard surface props so i can develop my skills more and give a great result.
FInal portfolio ProJect
Don't know where to start and where to finish .. this term is totally different . I cannot count the achievements in the last 4 months . So i go deeply in topology adjustment and maintained the curved objects . I understand hard surface props more than before and get into problems in modeling like pinching and adjust topology ..etc and i think the most part that I have evolved into it is the modeling .. i remodel the body more than 10 times .. but it took me to get better result at the end. Special thanks to my mentor for helping me very well "Erik Lehmann" , and looking to explore my model in hard surfaces props to create better props and have better jobs at the end .
Advanced Final Project
For my Advanced term, I used to do more hard surfaces objects to exploring my knowledge in modeling and for the uving also to have more idea about how to unfold the complicated objects in uv. And in the texturing I'm trying to find a good ways to give the object a great texture. I'm really happy that I achieve this result till now, but not satisfied of what I really get.
Intermediate Final Project
For my term2 final, i use to work hard and do science fiction vehicle from merging it between real life and imagination . On the other hand i try to model real props from the right way and doing good texture. I started modeling in Maya and doing vehicle first then the other props , then i texture everything in Substance Painter . I Achieve good result in texturing and modeling. At the end I make a short animation for the vehicle .
FuNdamentals FInal ProJect
For my term 1 final project, I was not have the full view of how big my concept was, and i was trying to focus on modeling "Hero prop" and doing some easy environment props . But it was really hard to do all of these in just 4 weeks . so I lost because doing everything at once and a lot . The modeling was basic and bad lightning and texturing was really basic and the final was bad for me, but the idea is I learn a lot from this project.
