About Me:
Hello. My name is Fatema Alnaser and I'm a character and creatures for films student. I looking to become a character artist in films industry, in order to practice my passion in sculpting and texturing. My projects are a reflection of what I fancy in films. With a mix of realism and fantasy I've managed to create few art pieces that are interesting for the audience. Post graduation, I'm looking forward to developing these skills and leave my fingerprint in the industry.
FInal portfolio ProJect
For my work in progress Portfolio Production final project, I am focusing more on sculpting and human anatomy by challenging myself to create a child character which needed deep research in various resources. I'm currently focusing on my sculpting skills as I want to be a Sculptor one day.
Advanced Final Project
For my advanced final project, I've chosen a concept that will allow me to experiment with different aspects of character modeling. Including realistic sculpting, clothing, and hair. Currently, I am focusing texturing my character aiming to develop my texturing skills since I'm interested in texturing. One of the biggest challenges I've came cross is the technical sides of modeling and using xgen for the first time. While I'm working on my progress in this project, I'm looking forward to level up my texturing skills and ability to troubleshooting.
Intermediate Final Project
For my intermediate term final project, I've chosen a creature to model in order to focus more on zbrush and sculpting. Since such an industry requires modeling a different subject, I decided to work on something I wouldn't necessarily pick. As an artist I'm used work on more cute characters and more illustration artwork. By submission time I've already gained more sculpting skills and it gave me more confidence to create creatures.
FuNdamentals FInal ProJect
For my foundation term I've choose an environment concept since I've picked character and creatures for films path, I wanted to practice this side as well. I've faced challenges that helped to polish my skills as a modeler including building the wooden fence and maintaining the body in an organic shape. Texturing specific parts was challenging for me as well especially that I was using Mari. My final piece proved to me that I can manage time and developed my skills in so many areas.
