About Me:

Hello! My name is Amin and I am a student specializing in Environment and Props for Games. With a passion for modelling, procedural asset generation and look dev, I aspire to work as an environment artist in the gaming industry. My projects often explore the intersection of fantasy elements and realistic details, aiming to bring unique and immersive experiences to players. I have completed several projects that enhanced my artistic skills and technical expertise. After graduation, I am eager to contribute to innovative projects where I can further develop my skills and make a significant impact.

Advanced Final Project

Along this term, I wasn't satisfied with the term at all because there was no time to practice, learn anything so I can progress well with the project but at least I could be satisfied with my scene that I can at least submit something. The only thing I could really achieve in this project was about texturing and advanced technical implementation. Currently I'm fixing my texturing and look-dev issues just to submit.

Intermediate Final Project

For my Intermediate Term Final Project, I made eastern interior inspired by Oliver Beck. I couldn't do enough due to illness, but I could achieve some goals such as construction scripts, particle effects, and a little of lighting. this project was challenging when it comes to implement lighting and look-dev in unreal engine 5 with new unreal features such as nanite, lumen, and raytracing.

For my Term 1 Final Project, I created a 3D model of a sci-fi drone, inspired by Nicolas Belley. I focused on some sci-fi and fantasy textures and effects to showcase my technical skills. This project was so heavy due to some misunderstanding in Udims and some memory reconsideration but finally it could be rendered. This project required mastering hard surface modelling, UV mapping, rigging, texturing, compositing and look-dev, challenges I overcame by experimenting with various software tools and seeking feedback from best instructor (Raffael Frank) all thanks to him. This final project helped me to have solid understanding with technical and artistic skills such as hard surface modelling, rigging, storytelling, and texturing, and more importantly nailing how 3D assets are rendered and processed which helped me to understand more about optimization and preserving quality.
